I have been on Yaz for about a year now. Initially, I noticed very few side effects like I did with other birth controls. However, for the past few months, I have been severely depressed and extremely anxious. Oftentimes, I feel like I cannot even move and there is very little that gives me any hope. I really feel like giving up. Can depression occur slowly over time with this drug? I am trying to figure out where this mood change suddenly came from. Help!
