Wart Remover Used in Error Causing an Injury

Wart remover was used in error by a medical professional causing a painful, blistered burn to my daughters arm approx 3-4 inchs in diameter. The error was diagnosed a week after the error was made..The injury is still very painful with a clear discharge. What type of scarring if any should I expect?
