Tramadol Hydrochloride Daily Headaches, Sick to My Stomach, Headach, Neurologist, Tramadol
Posted over a year ago
My neurologist prescribed Tramadol for daily headaches. After reading some of these side effects, I am scared to take this drug. Is this drug really that bad? I don't want to be nauseated or sick to my stomach or have a worse headache than I already do.
Southernmagnolia - I need to reply actually to my own posting. I broke down and took the Tramadol last night for a headache that was nagging. My neurologist told me that I should take it instead of the BC powders that I was taking up to 4 times daily. I also take other meds for migraine prevention, but have just started taking these meds again recently. I suffer from daily headaches along with chronic a-typical migraines and blind migraines.
I am happy to report that after taking 1-50mg Tramadol I basically had no side effects within the first hour noted. I did take it at bedtime and I slept so good. No insomnia for me, one of the best nights sleeps that I have had in a while. I also can report that within about 30 minutes after taking I noticed that the headache was starting to slightly decrease and as I fell asleep it was almost gone. I think that I will quit reading so many side effects and just listen to my doctor.
