My mom is 90, and on a strong dose of Toprol for both high BP and congestive heart failure, but within last several months, is extremely weak, fatigued and has increased shortness of breath. I know here age is very advanced, but this seems like a high dose. Her BP is quite low -- 90/58, but doctors don't seem concerned. Still, with the increased shortness of breath and very extreme lethargy, I wonder if at least some of this couldn't be coming from the Topol at that dosage. Any thoughts from anyone?
