After 5 months of not losing any weight at all, and my skin getting worse and worse, I gave up and went back on spiro a few weeks ago. I'm at 75 mg now and going to try to stay there — we'll see what happens.

I have bought from Swanson through Amazon before and didn't know about their guarantee! Interesting. I'm wondering with the saw palmetto, though, it's also an anti-androgen, so wouldn't it be likely to have the same side effects as spiro?

@sheerheartattack: I would make sure to get the standardized extract saw palmetto. They sell it at Walmart. They are little gel ovules as opposed to the dry herb capsule. I will start taking mine again today too and maybe we can compare results???? : - 1% more...

@Shortywcb Maybe I'll try the saw palmetto. I have been exercising regularly for a few months — most of the time I've been off the spiro — and still nothing =( I eat pretty well, very few processed foods and all vegan, so I feel like there's not much - 58% more...

Unfortunately I have no insurance so unless my derm can get me samples of Aczone, I probably can't afford it. Right now I'm using benzoyl peroxide in the morning and Finacea at night, neither of which seems to do much but dry out my skin. Spiro is re - 33% more...
