Singulair J Douglas Bremner, Going in the Right Direction, Google, Leg Cramps, Class Action Suit
J. Douglas Bremner, M.D., I hope that you google your name and will give us your opinion. We are going in the right direction. We need expert help.
Rams0509 - I agree we need expert help. The Swedish study done in 2005 should have alerted Merck. There is no way adverse reactions were not known. Too many people have suffered. I am very fortunate that my daughter's symptoms only recently started getting severe. No telling what other medications would have been added to offset Singulair's problems. As it is we have been to the doctor numerous times about abdominal pain, leg cramps, light sensitivity, mood swings, emotional fits, etc. The word definitely needs to get out. I hate to think of all of the children and adults still suffering because they don't know. My daughter's doctor told me last week he didn't think Singulair could be the cause of all of her problems. The doctor's office had been assured by Merck that there was no link to suicide etc. But guess what??? All side effects have pretty much disappeared after 7 days. What can we do to make sure doctor's start listening to patients and not Merck? Any way to start a class action suit? I am not interested in receiving any money but Merck does need to pay and answer to someone. This has been the most frustrating experience!!!
