Continued Loss of Balance
My husband began developing marked symptoms of gross loss of balance and speech irregularities at the onset of taking Simvastatin, two years and four months ago. The cardiologist recommended to cease taking this drug immediately after a six week ingestion of the drug. It was done immediately. The symptoms have gotten markedly worse over the past 28 months. Falling has become commonplace, and speech is difficult to comprehend. Treatment has been sought at major medical facilities in Baltimore and Boston. Dietary adjustments, herbal supplementation have been implemented to complement traditional medical procedures. To date, nothing has halted the progression of the symptoms as addressed above.
