Simvastatin Simvastatin, Stage 3 Breast Cancer, Nagging Cough, Unexplained Problems, Diet Exercise

I am a 59 yo female and have been taking Simvastatin for approx 6 months. I have been having a lot of unexplained problems but after reading something in the paper decided to check out the side effects of Simvastatin & guess what? They are all the same as everyone has stated in this website. I went to urgent care with sore throat, nagging cough, feeling of fullness in my throat & neck - doc said nothing appeared abnormal said it was allergy throat but gave me a Z-pac antibiotic in case there was some infection. It has been over a month now & scratchy throat continues & the pain in my neck has continued to my shoulder with tingling down my arm & into my fingers. I do not get a good nights sleep - tossing & turning. I am an 8 year survivor of Stage 3 breast cancer & was worrying I may have bone cancer but now really think it may be the meds. I see my doc tomorrow & will discuss stopping the prescription - I had lowered my HDL with diet & exercise before starting the meds but not to the point she wanted.
