Oxymethazoline HCL and Sudafed Loss of Taste and Smell

Is it possible that when I was taking Oxymethazoline HCL 0.05% with Sudafed that I can lose my sense of taste and smell? The bridge of my nose is feeling sore and I haven't been able to smell or taste for a month...I was only on the Sudafed and Oxymethazoline HCL for 4 days. I only used the Oxymethazoline HCL spray 2-3 times during the 4 day period b/c my nose was stuffy. I didn't get relief from the spray so I used Benadryl (thought it was allergies), but didn't help, then used Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4 mg. After using all of the above to try and get relief for the 4 days, I somehow lost my sense of taste and smell after a week and it's been a month, with no regaining of either senses (taste and smell). I am able to only tell if something is either salty, bitter/sour or sweet, but nothing else.
