I don't know if this is a new side effect, but I am allergic to cats, and have two old ones in my home. I use Oxymetazoline to clear my nasal passages at night, so I can sleep. The side effect, is constant runny nose, and sneezing, which lasts for a half hour or so. I prefer to use 4-Way, which is Phenylephrine HCL 1%. This doesn't cause reactions, and clears my nasal passages within several minutes, with no side effects.
