Itching Like Crazy

I am itching like crazy and I am hoping this will pass. If I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom I have a hard time going back to sleep. I have not experanced the flushing (knock on wood). I have only been on Niaspan 500 er for about a week. Is this going to get worse.
