Neurontin Neuropathy Pain, Becareful, Memory Loss, Sleepiness, Thinning Hair

I suffered from pain from my neck to my toes. With 4 ruptured disks in my back and two in my neck, there is a lot of pressure on my nerves, to say the least. Neurontin has saved my sanity but has caused other things to go wrong. Like others there is the weight gain, and my wife and I eat healthy, there is the slight memory loss and I teach for a living, my body adjusted to the sleepiness but now I sleep very little each night. Last week my wife noticed my hair is gone in patches on the back of my head. Not sure how long that has been going on and I plan to ask the person who cuts my hair, how long ago she noticed it and probably thought I already knew about it. I have had the thinning hair for some time now, so I was use to that. I have been on Neurontin for about 10 years now and wish I could go to something else for the neuropathy pain. Be careful when starting this drug, it is not a nice one for the long haul.
