Morphine Use

I have been on morphine for a long time. I take 120m/g per day of slow releasing tabs and 10m/g for break through pain, when needed. I have degenerative disk disease in the lumber and cervical spine areas as well as arthritis. Just today I have been informed that I have to start taking duragesic25, fentanyl 25mcg, which is a narcotic patch worn 72hrs at a time, removed and immediatly replaced with another patch. Does anyone happen to know what sort of side effects I will experience going off the 60m/g dosage of morphine, if any because I wil be going on another narcotic right away. When I had decided to go off this drug in december (morphine) I experienced chest pain that was severe in just 24hrs. Also please help me if you are on this patch or know anything about what it will do to me.(duragesic 25, fentanyl 25mcg)
