Don't Get Mirena

Well like may of you I have had nothing but issues with Mirena! I got my first one after my daughter was born and about 2 days later it dislodged and went through my uterus wall so I had to have it surgically removed. For whatever reason I decided to get another one because it was the best option or so I thought. I have had this one a year now and have had numerous ovarian cysts (and we know those are painful), have not had any period and have had extreme hair loss. My Doctor and I have decided to remove the Mirena and go with the Paragard which she thinks is a better option for me. It has no hormones and lasts even longer. I am hoping this will be the answer that I need! She also assures me that my hair will return back to normal..
