update... I had my mirena out on 23rd (tues) March, spotted/light period until Sunday afternoon. No pain and for the first time in ages I actually feel as if I'm living my life and am 'present' when watching my children play instead of being a 'watcher', even when playing with them I always felt as if I was an observer this last couple of years. I also have more energy and just feel better. I was warned that when my cylce is due to have my period it is likely to be heavy; this scares me a bit, but am feeling good otherwise. Oh, and best of all the irrationality seems to have disappeared as well!
