Well said Haydensmom!!! I totally agree with you 100%. I did look up Mirena before doing it. Somethings were a bit scary when reading about side effects like on here for some women who have had it and most are one that had kids. I have never given birth to a child myself but still thats beside the point of women saying what they went through and saying dont do it. But guess what I did do it because my reason for doing it I have endometriosis and when doing other things like Lupron, or Depo shot and even seasonique didn't help me I had to try something else and Mirena was the next thing on the list and so far with the Mirena it has helped. Having it put in was hell. It hurt and they didn't numb me which is probably why it was so painful too but I got through the pain and I am glad I did. I can deal with the light cramping and all that. Its not a problem. And I have no side effects with it as far as I can tell right now so happy for that too. With what Haydensmom is saying is right though. "It's working for me and it may for you too. WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT!!!! So not sure how it will be for you but this is how its helped me. So I hope it does for you if you chose to do it but first should look it up and writing any questions you have and ask your doctor about it." I DID. I went over everything and anything with him on all this. So dont let others scare you out of doing it. When it comes down to it, its your choice because its your body. You will be dealing and willing with it. It may not be for everyone but it might be for you and you wont know for sure unless you try it. So, just think on it and be sure its what you want to do. Don't let anyone make the choice for you sense they shouldn't anyway. You only get one body and if you are like me and looking for a way out of pain and nothing else works for you give it a try. Its all you can do and if it doesn't help well like everyone says its easier getting it removed then it is having it put in. ITS YOUR CHOICE!!! Only you can make it sense your the only one that knows your own body. Don't let others scare your finally choice, it MIGHT be the right one you could ever make. That's all I have to say.
