my father is taking 40 mg of lovastatin a day. . for the second time since he has started taking it he has been taking to the er with excruciating pain in his stomach & chest, he throws up this god wakeful black substance & poops uncontrollably with blood ... more »
my father is taking 40 mg of lovastatin a day. . for the second time since he has started taking it he has been taking to the er with excruciating pain in his stomach & chest, he throws up this god wakeful black substance & poops uncontrollably with blood in his stool.. for a month he did different testing & everything came out great! could he be allergic to the lovastatin or could it be galbladder or something to that effect? please give me some advice!
777 - Statins are dangerous drugs that cause MANY side effects. Drs. and the drug co's are doing a SCAM on the anti-cholesterol drugs . . . it is all about big $$$. In reality, your mind/body needs cholesterol to function properly. . . . DON'T LET A DR. TO CON YOU OR YOUR FATHER.
Sbaits - My husband has been on disability for 7 months due to extreme pain in muscles. Stay away from this scary drug.
