Why Does Lorazepam Improve My Vision??
I have a serious vision problem. I only see out of one eye and that has had many surgeries including removal of lens, retina reattachment, and two cornea translants. I see very darkly or dim almost all the time. However, when I take 2mg of Lorazepam, my vision clears up completely. Not just a small improvement, but pure miraculous comlete sight retuns as if there is nothing wrong with my eye. This will happen for 1,2, or 3 days in a row and then the effect diminishes and taking any more Lorazepam does not change much. I must wait a few days and then it becomes effective again. I go from being virtually blind with large dark areas covering all of my sight... but then the Lorazepam clears everything to absolute normal.
I have been telling this to several surgeons in NYC for the past year, but they are baffled as to why Lorazepam could have this effect. The medicine is working in this way though. It is a pure miracle. I am desperately trying to find someone who will take an interest in why this is happening so that we can discover an explanation.
