Loestrin 24 Fe Ovarian Cysts, Stomach Problems, Diarrhea, Breakthrough, Headachs

I am 31 yrs old, was put on Lestrin 24 to alleviate my problems I have been having with ovarian cysts. I am now on week 3 of pack 4 of BC pill. I have been experiencing the breakthrough/spotting side effects still, even though my doctor said that should subside after pack 3. And on top of that, I have been experiencing stomach problems. Not feeling well, gas, and some diarrhea. But more often than not, I just don't feel well. I am wondering if it's from the pill or if it's some other problem I have been having. Just wanted to see if anyone else has been experiencing this problem.

Nessim1202 - I just started taking this 2 weeks ago. I was on it during my normal period time but it lasted a full 7 days which is very rare for me and now 3 days after it ended I have another full blown heavy period!!! All the doctor said was that I should stick to it and see what happens in the next three months, and that this could happen often. I don't think so. At this rate I'm not going to get pregnant because of the pill but from the lack of sex! lol I have also noticed upset stomach, headachs (and I'm not a headach person) and about 5 extra lbs due to bloating. Not to mention I'm very dehydrated and tired all the time. Oh and very moody, which the Dr said wouldn't happen. I think I'm gonna try something else.

Smireles - I'm 29 and I'm on my second pack. I posted something about this pill yesterday (Jan 12). Ever since I started taking it I've felt aweful. I've been on different BC pills for 14 years, and I've NEVER had these kinds of side effects (accept low libido). I've switched pills before and I've never felt like this either. I have constant nausea, heart burn, bloating, chest pain, constipation. I didn't get my period after my first pack, which freaked me out because I never miss periods. I feel like I'm PG, but I took a test and it was negative. I'm also moody and I wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back asleep. I hate this pill! It's amazing how hormones can cause so many problems. I'm definitely going to stop taking this pill.
