Hand, Arm and Leg Pains - Long Term User of Lisinopril
I am a 49 year old male, I have one kidney smaller than the other - probably genetic - my younger brother died from renal failure following the same diagnosis, aged 40 - the blood flow to the shrunken kidney is obstructed, causing high blood pressure. I was prescribed 100mg daily of Atenalol in 1986, and 5mg of lisinopril, later raised to 10mg daily of lisinopril. I suffered erectal dysfunction some years later and in 2000 the Atenalol was withdrawn ( as this was thought to be a underlying cause or factor )and I was switched to 20mg of lisinopril. I also use Viagra ( privately supplied ) for the erectal probs. In the last 6 months I have suffered from hand, arm and leg pains. I am civil servant, in UK, and I thought this was probably RSI, my GP says it is likely the effects of the lisinopril. I am due to raise the issue on my annual hospital medical next month ( February ). Any one had a similar experience? ... more »

Otherwise, I always had slight tingles in my fingers and toes - with the Atenalol.
