I've been off Lisinopril for 33 days now (was only on 5mg for 3.5 weeks) and still have some lingering side effects like shortness of breath, extreme muscle fatigue and loss of stamina. Mine seem to get to the point where the effects almost go away and then, something reignites them. Could those that have stopped using Lisinopril please comment on their experience with how long side effects take to go away.

Jas2685 - My husband was on lisinopril 20 mg for at least 4 years. His side effects have been nausea, stomach pain, lightheadedness, fatigue, lack of energy, cough with gaging. The cough has subsided and lightheadedness has ceased. He stopped taking med in mid-May 2010 and still has some nausea and stomach issues. It has been two months since he stopped lisinopril and was wondering how you were doing?
