Lisinopril Uvula, Mucus, Zyrtec, Meds, January 24

HOPE MY EXPERIENCE CAN HELP!!!!!. I was rushed to the ER on Sunday, January 24, 2010 from my doctor's office. It felt like something was blocking my airway in my THROAT. I could not swallow nor catch my breathe. I could not !!BREATH!!!. The ER doctor asked me about all the meds I am taking and the ones I've stopped taking. LISINOPRIL, the doctor looked in my throat and told me the I have "ANGIOEDEMA" and it was caused from taking LISINOPRIL. Swelling of the throat and the uvula and the mucus. The ER doctor told me to take Zyrtec and Zantac150 every 12 hours for symptoms-both over the counter. I am not all the way better but I'm on my way. My breathing and swallowing is much better. I hope that my experience can help someone.
