Interference With Absoptiorption of Zeita( Cholesterol Lowering Drug)
Posted over a year ago
My cholesterol shot up after taking Lipo Flavonid- Could this medication be hindering the absorption of Zeita in the digestive tract?
Marlee77 - Yes, Lipo Flavanoid interfered with my Cholosterol levels while I was on Zeita. In 90 days my Cholosterol went up 40 points. I stopped taking Lipo Flavanoid and in 30 days my Cholestterol returned to normal levels.Neither my doctor nor I can find any other reason for this rather dramatic shift. It is likely due to an inert ingredient, a cellulose deriviative, in the Lipo Flavanoid which is added to some drugs to retard their absorption in the digestive tract.I believe this cellulose deriviative interfered with the absorption of the Zieta which allowed my Cholesrerol levels to soar.
