My dad is 75 years old and has always been very active. He golfs, bowls, dances and it seems in the last year he has started having much muscle weakness. He was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's, He has been taking lipitor for over two years and I wonder if his Parkinson like symptoms might be related to the side effects of lipitor. Could the lipitor be causing his muscle weakness? I just read where some lady believes lipitor caused her husbands parkinson's. What do you think? He's not in too bad of shape yet and I am against all the Parkinson's meds if they are not needed!!!!!!!! Maybe he just needs of the lipitor!!!!!!!!!!! Please help!!!!!!!
