Hi all, last time I posted here I was 1yr 3mnths off 80mg Lipitor which I was on for 6.5weeks in Sept '09. Since then the same problems are with me but to lesser degrees on and off through the years. I get about 3-4mnths a year of good health, energy etc and then bang like recently my symptoms (a lot of them) come back like a slap in the face. The doc who prescribed this drug for me saw me privately in his clinic since '09 to monitor me but he has now retired!! So I am left with a two month prescription for painkillers and that's it. I don't know what or where to go now. I take 100mg of COq10 daily maybe I'm not taking enough? I am really hoping that with time these awful symptoms totally go, at this stage I am sceptical. I just turned 40 and I really thought at this stage my life would be back to normal. I know everyone is different but will this ever go? It has ruined my life, I am depressed and fed up. I exercise and try to enjoy life as much as I can but I'm only getting older, will it improve! The doc that retired assured me it would all heal with time. I hope he enjoys his retirement, I hope I get to enjoy my life someday. Am delighted to hear so many have improved but why is this drug still being prescribed, it's absolute poison and if it doesn't get you on day 1 it is guaranteed to get you someday. Good luck to all.
