Lipitor Sleep Apnea, Know That They Have, Hypercholesterolemia, Lipitor, Correlation
Sleep Apnea ! I believe was caused by taking Lipitor for more than 10 years.
Sleepdoctor1 - There is no known correlation between taking a medication, such as Lipitor, and causation of sleep apnea. There is, however, a strong correlation between people who are overweight (and therefore at higher risk of hypercholesterolemia) and sleep apnea. See http://www.sleepassociation.org/ more information about risk factors for sleep apnea. Most people who have sleep apnea do not know that they have sleep apnea. So, most likely, you just found out about having sleep apnea coincidentally after taking the medication.
