I have graves disease (hyperthyroidism), and I went Hypo. after the Radioactive Iodine procedure. Now i am taking 125 mcg of Levothyroxine, and it has been hell. I have been experiencing increased nervousness, increased anxiety, excessive sweating in hands and feet, cold body, mood swings...etc. I have been on this for at least 3 months, and the doctor just says that i must continue on 125 even though nothing gets better. What would you guys recommend i do?

Glynisrose - Seek out an endocrinologist / GP willing to try you on a synthetic T3 supplement or natural thyroxine. It sounds like similarly to me, you are not converting the inactive T4 in Levo to the active T3 that your body needs.
