I have been on thyroxin and have been having no problems but recently for the second time this year have had a seerious case of flu and wa s given Cipro both times this has happened my TS H level have gone up dramatically showing that I need more Thyroxin, but if I take more then my T4 goes up which we don't want. I'm allergic to all dyes and Cipro is the only antibiotic I've been able to take. but now that this is happening, I don't know what to do. Anyone out there that takes thyroxin that may have had Cipro and had the same effect. I'm weak trembly, heart not beating properly and it will get worse til abt. aweek after I've finished my cipro. The TSH levels will go back to normal. In the meantime, 'm not safe to drive or anything.
