I was put on Levaquin for Shingella - an intense intestinal disease. I immediately began to feel that I needed to be in the hospital. After trying to determine if in fact I was getting worse, or it was the medicine, I searched for the side effects. It seems one that is not mentioned thus far in your postings is dropping your blood sugar. I'm hypoglycemic and the doctors knew this, but I guess they thought they'd "give it a try." I do have the arthritic cramps too. I was going to try and go for it since I only have 3 more days, but after reading your notes, I will be making a call to me doctor. Thanks for helping!
