I was prescribed Levaquin for Pharyngitis...Two other Anti-biotics didn't work...The Levaquin seemed to work. The pharyngitis is almost gone--but still there...dosage 5 tablets @ 750 mg...Side effects---same as everyone on this board...Headache,,ear ... more »

The pharyngitis is almost gone--but still there...dosage 5 tablets @ 750 mg...Side effects---same as everyone on this board...Headache,,ear problems,,,weakness,,,muscle/joint pain,,lower bowel pain,,,,conjunctivitis,,,,allergy symtoms,,,,stiff neck,,shoulder pain...If this is a cure for pharyngitis--it ain't worth it.....CFC
