Large Dent After Kenalog Shot-due to SHOT NOT BEING GIVEN CORRECTLY

I too received a steroid injection for allergies and about 2 months later woke up with large and sudden dent/astrophy of muscle and tissue. I started having pain and swelling in the area and an MRI revealed I had either an abscess that had set up or a hemorrage rupture. Months later and several surgeons and doctors and tests later..the doctors agree this was from a steroid shot given incorrectly. They should be given intramuscular, but this is a classic case of one given Subcutaneous into the tissue.

Due to my medical bills and the fact that I will most likely have to have surgery due to repair the damage and clean out the scar tissue that has already built up... I am going to have to file a medical malpractice against the person that gave the injection and the clinic. NOt only that... but the nurse practitioner failed to document and also failed to give me any information on side effects, etc..

I can tell you that I have been in the medical field and have 128 hrs towards my nursing degree and am shocked by this and upset..not to mention disfigured.

Everyone keeps saying file a class action against the drug company..but you will need to file malpractice against the person that gave it to you.. as most likely cause it was given incorrectly and not the drug itself.
