I had Kenalog (Aristocort) injection in May of 2009. My daughter noticed the huge indent in my behind and asked me about it. I finally figured out it was from the injection in May. It takes four or five months for the indent and pain to be noticed. The doctor (GP on call) had the nurse give me the shot for a cold and sinus. I was not warned of any side effects or told the medicine was different from previous injections given by my General Doctor for the cold sinus. (He had my medical records to review) My life has been miserable since May. I have experienced extreme fatigue, missed periods, extreme hormonal imbalance as I had controlled thyriod disorder and autoimmune issues, depression, anxiety, mood swings, knee problems, all over muscle pain and pain in the area of the indent and down my leg. I have not been able to function physically and mentally since this injection. This is a bad drug that is disfiguring and impairing people. The injection must be given deep into the muscle to avoid athrophy and only a skilled doctor should give the injection when all other treatments have been exhausted and the persons health is at risk. Doctors are using this medicine like candy and this medicine should only be used in life threatening situations and the patient should be informed of side effects and sign a consent. Please contact me with any information about a Class Action Lawsuit.
