I received my first annual exam at 15. I checked out normal. I recieved the entire series of shots between ages 15 and 16. I became pregnant while I was 16. Guess what?! The exam that I was given at the first of my pregnancy showed that I had all kinds of things going wrong with me. I had abnormal cells on my cervix and had to take an antibiotic to treat them. I was worried that this would hurt my baby. After I delivered my daughter I went back for my scheduled annual in July. I had her in November & choose not to be placed on birth control. In July I had more abnormal cells and was given a second antibiotic. By Feb I had started getting sick. I went back to the doctor (a different one this time) and found out that I had hormone problems and cysts on my ovaries. I have been on birth control for the last 4 years to help counteract the side effects of what ever is wrong with me. I have 3 younger and 2 older sisters. Only one of them was dumb enough to get the shots with me. She only recieved 2 of the shots. She also has hormone problems and cysts. NO ONE else in my family does. Anyone else think this is strange?! I regret getting the shots. They have set me up for a life full of problems.
