Higer Does With Amiteza

My doctor had me take Enulose syrup 15mls every 2 hrs for 3 doses then start Amiteza the next day. I have not had a bowel movement in 3 weeks!! He called and told me today to take 30mls twice daily for 2 days and the Amiteza and if no relief call his office. Is it safe to take these medications together? Is taking that much Enulose safe for me? I am 40 year old female, post gastric bypass reversal.
