Mental Health Side Affects Doxycycline Hyclate

I have been it on this drug for only two days. Not sure what my exact diagnosis, only that my glands in one side of my neck were swollen and very tender, so doctor said it means you have an infection and the nodes/ glands are fighting the infection. So I have an infection and was upt on this drug.

Last night , I was very tired , yet I tossed and turned all night, felt anxious, mind would not shut down... just felt weird.. also felt like I had trouble getting air in my lungs really good... anyway I was getting air, but it just felt weird. This morning was worse, just did not feel like myself, made a comment that verged on the edge of hostility in a meeting to a director... not my norm. .

today I just feel not myself, feel on edge, feel anxious, feel irritable and a little depressed, just not myself and I have only been on this two days. should I quit taking this? I am seriously thinking so, especially after I read some of the comments.

I hope everyone is entering their comments on the official side so that these can be reported, because the insert I have states nothing about any mental health affects, which there obviously are.
