After about three months of my primary changing my blood pressure meds with no drop in pressure he sent me to a cardiologist. The cardiolgist changed meds for about the 7th or 8th time and one of the new ones is clonidine. It seemed to finally do the trick.
Problem is I am always tired. I lost 25 pounds and had hoped pressure would drop more.No luck. I wanted the Clonidine to be reduced if possible.
Now at work it is extremely stressful and I am running my tail off. I work 9-10 hour days alone. Needless to say I am exhausted when I get home. The question being is it the work or the clonidine that is making me want to fall asleep?
I feel my joy is gone and I am even on anti depressants. I am doing what I need to to "survive". Hopefully hours at work will drop and I will be able to go back to exercising (which I hate but have to do). This has to end.
I am afraid to go off clonidine because so many others did not help. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
