I have been on Celexa for almost a year. First 10mg then 20mg and 30mg my doctor wanted me to get off of them and put me on another antidepressant so we started the withdrawal and by the time I got down to 10mg over 3 months. I began having such pains in my legs I could not walk anymore.
I told my doctor and he put me back up to 30mg. Since then one leg came back to normal but one leg still hurt the same. I have had nerve test and all kinds of meds to help with pain, but I was allergic to all of the meds.
When I started on antidepressants everytime I came down with severe headaches my doctor would tell me I was having an allergic reaction. This happened with 3 different antidepressants. Finally I got on Celexa and yes I have side affects but nothing I can not live with, but no headaches. So if you are
having headaches you may want to find something different to take.
