As an endurance athlete and having used these eye drops for 15 years, I am now experiencing an inability to even jog because my heart rate will not rise enough to compensate for the effort required, I then get chest pain accompanied by visual fainting changes - then I stop and walk! On suspending the eye drops for a week or more this symptom disappears. A cardiologist assures me that my heart is sound. My resting pulse is in the 40's, and BP 90/60. I am in my late 60's and have completed over 60 marathons.
