    I too have recently been diagnosed with AIH. My dr has put me on prednisone and imuran. The imuran caused pancreatitis so I've been taken off of it. I still have a lot to learn, but I'll be glad to share with you. Carol

    A friend of mine has developed this and is taking methotrexate. Seems to be taking care of the problem but it took a long time to sort it out and quite a bit of cortisone to quell the itching.
