My Mother is taking 25 mg of atenolol. Been taking it about 30 days. Has been experiencing trouble getting her breath at night when she is sleeping. Wakes up unable to get a full breath. Called the paramedics one night - they came checked her out and said everything ok. This has only been occuring since she went on this medication. Has anyone else had any problem like this. She has experienced tiredness during the day also but the inability to get her breath at night is very frightening. Please advise. Thank you
