Amitriptyline Hydrochloride Chronic Back Pain, Turning 50, Being a Woman, Amitriptyline

I was prescribed Amitriptyline for chronic back pain. I have gained 20 lbs. since taking it. I am slowly weaning myself off of it to see if I can lose that weight. Have been eating right & exercising too, but maybe turning 50 and being a woman is contributing to the weight. I will see when I finally get off this stuff.
