I began taking this medication at a dose of 800mg twice daily 3 days ago. Today I began experiencing extreme anxiety, hot flashes, redness of the skin, itching and fatigue. I am taking this medicine along with another medication (cephalexin 2000mg daily), for a staph infection. How long will this reaction continue and what is the best way to manage the symptoms of these antibiotics?

I starting taking Sulfameth/Trimethorprim 800/160 Tabs 1 tablet every 12 hours for 5 days. I stopped last night because I have been getting major headaches that won't go away with anything that I have taken. I've been having major stomach cramps and hot flashes. All this for a bladder infection? I hate meds.

This drug is awful, I feel dizzy, lightheaded, shaky, tired, nausiated, have blurry vision, and trouble swallowing, hot flashes and trouble sleeping. I am stopping it today. It seems to work for my UTI, but the side effects are unbearable. I also have bruises all over my legs and I did not bump into anything!

Severe abdominal pain, headache for almost 24 hrs now, hot flashes, extremely drowsy. I was prescibed this med. for a yeast infection along with phenazopyridine. it is slowly helping. the side effects are hell but the outcome is good.
