I was prescribed this when I was diagnosed with Walking Pneumonia. It made me feel extremely weird, identical to what the #10257 entry on this forum. I stopped taking it because I felt like I was going crazy.

I love stahist. I have had no problems other than the cost. I wish there was a generic. Nothing else clears up my symptoms (runny nose, tickle throat, sneezing, stuffiness, etc) not clarinex, allegraD, nor zyrtec. this med is great and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I do not feel like myself. I didn't know what was going on and it scared me, as I was drying. I had to concentrate very hard just to keep myself in the lines on the pavement. I felt not-in-control and just "weird." I also had very bad dry mouth. Another effect was that I would be talking to someone and completely forget what I was saying or either I'd just keep rambling on with nervousness, wondering if I was making sense. At times, there was lightheadedness or dizziness. I felt edgy and just "not right with myself." I felt somewhat as if I were on drugs and couldn't stay alert enough to be on the road.

Pros: I've been coughing for 5+ years and many many test later no cure. Ah-Chew worked (off market now), Allerx worked (immune after 5 yrs) STAHIST is now my current the only drug that helps my coughing. NOTHING ELSE, I've tried it all.
Cons: Only bad reaction is it makes me very sleepy (fatigue).
Recommendation: make a day and night pill (i.e. Allerx has a night and day)
