I have swelling in my feet and ankles from taking Lotrel. It lowers my BP but now I retain fluid which makes me tired and irritable, I have to take ibuprofen every night to keep my legs from aching. I'm really tired of it.

I was taking Lotrel 5/20 and had a bad ringing/roaring in my ears that drove me crazy at times. About four months ago I ran out of my pills and thought I could get by without them but my bp went up to 184/118. While I was off of them the ear noise seem to go away. Now that I'm back on them the noise is back. Could this be a side effect? Also my legs ache very bad.

Since starting Lotrel in May, 2002 I have in the past 6 months developed severe muscle and joint pain expecially in my legs and ankles. I used to run 3 to 4 miles 5 times a week. I can
hardly do two miles walking now. Could this be Lotrel 5/20?
