Gastrografin and abdomen

I had an abdominal CT scan 2 days ago. Within 1 1/2 hrs., I became very nauseous, with chills and a bad headache. During the night, my abdomen became very hot to the touch and I felt like I could feel my body processing the gastrografin. I also experienced diarrhea. I have been drinking water as much as possible when I was no longer nauseous. Today, my abdomen is cool to the touch and a lot less swollen. Overall, it was a terrible experience and if another CT scan is suggested, I don't think I will be able to go through it again.
