58 yrs old with VIOLENT dreams & getting worse even with clonipin from neurologist. Have Multiple System Atrophy according to him, but I think it may be the FloMax's side effects, but gotta take it (to urinate) because of neurogenic bladder disease caused from back fusion 33 yrs ago. No sex drive, <>ejaculat, blurred vision, sinusitis, orthostatic hypotension, and I STILL have to hit the john 3~ times nightly. Gotta do something, but WHAT? I wouldn't touch it now, had I known then what I know now!

Here's what I got: I got to urinate 1-2 times less per day. I got headaches, fairly intense back aches. complete sexual dyfunction, all day drowsiness, with inability to sleep upon retiring. I got a stuffy nose along with slightly blurred vision. My energy level and physical output were almost nonexistant. Violent dreams when I finally went to sleep. A complete feeling of being uncomfortable and feeling ill. In my opinion this is a drug from "hell". If you can trade uninating 1-2 times less per day for all of these negative efftects then go for it!

I am using Flomax for 3 weeks....I also suffer from a neurological disease. I was given Flomax after trying other drugs that caused retention....then after an extensive eurodynamics test...it showed the opposite...that my bladder does not contract.
Since taking Flomax, I must tell the doctor when I see him that I must take a sleeping pill, it is causing me insomnia and vivid dreams.
Also, I never woke up to urinate during the night, now I do.
Is my flow better....who knows?
YES....I am a FEMALE!

I have just started using Flomax. My first experiences of side effects seem to include insomnia, negative dreams which are exceedingly rare for me otherwise, dizziness when standing up to urinate at night, and pressure in my ears so that I can even hear my heart beat at night, or the sign of heart beat in my ears from effects on blood vessels in the ears. I have not given it sufficient "trial" but these are noticable side effects, so far.

My sun has suffered from three years of age with stomach pain and discomfort uppon eating he is now 12 years old. We have seen many doctors all of whom are very vague. His blood work consistantly comes back with low amylase and lipase. Yet they dont see any need for further investigation. I have been told he has a sensitive stomach. As a mother I see more. I live with him and see him every day. He eats very little, (i think it still hurts) he says he's not in pain anymore. At nine he was still thr...

I have fbeen taking Flomax for 5 days. My doc never warned me about any side effects. I shlould have asked, but he is so fast and abrupt, he really does not give a guy any time to ask questions. So far, I have an occasional pain in my gut like I just got kicked. What really freaked me out was the fact that I have absolutely no semen output during ejaculation. That is a very strange side effect. Also, my legs seem weak. And my vision is very blurry. My urine stream is a little better, and I don't have to urinate as often. I slept through the night once or twice. Big deal. Not a good tradeoff in my estimation. I am so used to getting up 2 or 3 times a night, it really does not impact my sleep that much. Thanks to this board, I am going back to my Physicians Choice Super Prostate Formula. Google it. It has helped me and several guys that I know a lot. It definately made things a lot more manageable. I have nothing to do with the company that makes it. Just thought that I would give all of you a heads up on somehting that seems to help me a lot. Thanks.
