Advair Diskus and family history

I have been taking Advair 250/50 for close to a year now and have been extremely happy with it - no side effects that I've noticed and its brought my rescue inhaler use down from often several times a day to maybe once a month. In general, I would consider that worth any side effects that could possibly be caused by the medication.

However, this past weekend I was a bit late refilling my prescription and went about 24 hours without taking it, and after about 18 hours I started getting really disoriented and dizzy, and then got hit out of nowhere with a fairly bad migraine, the first I've ever had, that lingered for a day and a half even after getting back on the Advair. I do have some family history of migraines but since I'd never had one before this, I wonder if suddenly being off the inhaler could've triggered the headache. Has anyone else ever had this experience?
