i am allergic to morphine

no, morphine is is an opiate methadone is not, all though methadone acts like an opiate, its a synthetic antagonist but if you are allergic to morphine, you may want consult a dr about taking methadone, i take 200 mg of methadone daily, and have no allergic symptoms but when i take morphine i get splochy places on my neck and chest, so i guess in a way im allergic to morphine too but not methadone. hope this helps
