Recently a friend of mine gave me her script for methadone for pain that I had been having in my shoulder it worked fairly well and I finished the script (about 30 half pills) since finishing that, I cant seem to regulate my skin temp...cant tell whether I am hot or cold pits sweaty but goose bumps all over! If your thinking withdraw...cant be...My doctor gave me a script for Vicodin and I am still having this problem...I know taking my friends meds was wrong ...trust me ..will NEVER do it again....please help

you are having classic symptoms of detox, Vicodin will not make the cold sweats or any withdraw symptom go away. I'm sorry to say that no other drug except methadone will calm the withdraw effects.I wouldn't advise taking them without a valid prescription from your doctor. they do make drugs that treat these side effects like Buprenorphine (Subutex,Suboxone)
I hope that you can get the appropriate help that you need,and I would advise you to stay off of the methadone. All it will do is get you addicted in a very little time. Hope you feel better!!
