avelox is making me itch.

Avelox is making me itch now for 2 weeks. I get no relief from my itching and would like to know if anyone has had this happen to them. I itch from my head down to my feet and just want to know if this is every going to stop.

Hopefully you are done taking your Avelox. What you were experiencing was a hypersensitivity reaction. Your body is telling you that you are allergic to it! Let your doctor know so that he doesn't prescribe it to you nor any other drug from that same class. Sorry to hear about that.
